Sunday Morning Worship

What to Expect

Every Sunday at 11:00 AM, we gather for worship. Here’s what that looks like:

It’s traditional… ish. We follow a Methodist order of service – opening hymn, scripture readings, prayers, sermon, closing hymn. But we’re not stuffy about it. We laugh, we’re real, and we don’t expect perfection from anyone (including ourselves).

It’s multigenerational. You’ll find everyone from ranchers who’ve attended for decades to folks just starting out. What makes us special isn’t any one family – it’s the genuine love and care we have for each other. God is baked into every aspect of our church: our history and our new life, our heritage and our walk into tomorrow together. That’s the spirit you’ll feel when you walk through our doors.

It’s casual. Wear what you’re comfortable in. You’ll see everything from Sunday best to jeans and boots. God cares about your heart, not your outfit.

It’s about 60 minutes. We start at 11:00 and usually wrap up by noon. We respect your time while creating space to encounter God.

Communion is the first Sunday of every month. At the United Methodist Church, everyone is invited to the table. If you love Jesus (or want to), you’re welcome.

CAN’T MAKE IT IN PERSON?

We stream every Sunday service live on Facebook at 11:00 AM.
Whether you’re traveling, under the weather, or just want to worship in your pajamas, you can join us online.

What to Expect: Your Questions Answered

What time should I arrive?

Come at 11:00 for the service, or arrive 10-15 minutes early if you want to grab a bulletin and chat with folks. We’re friendly but not pushy.

What’s the service like?

Traditional Methodist structure with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We sing hymns (sometimes from the hymnal, sometimes from the screen), pray together, read scripture, and hear a message focused on real life and real faith.

What about my kids?

Kids are welcome in worship! We love the life that little ones bring to the room – I’ll even happily hold a baby while preaching if need be. Children of all ages are part of our worship family.

Is there parking?

Yes! Parking is right in front of the church and on the street. We’re a small congregation, so there’s always room.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable. Seriously. Jesus wore sandals.

Will anyone bug me about joining or giving?

Nope. We’re genuinely glad you’re here. No pressure, no awkwardness, no sales pitch. You’re welcome to visit as many times as you like before making any commitments.

I haven’t been to church in years. Will I feel lost?

Not at all. The service is easy to follow, and everything you need is in the bulletin. We’ll invite you to sit with us and do worship together – there’s no need to navigate this alone. I get that asking questions can be intimidating, so we make it easy. Just come, and we’ll take care of the rest.
