Wednesday Nights

Every Wednesday evening, our church comes alive with the energy of elementary through high school students. We start with dinner (because growing kids are always hungry), then move into age-appropriate programming.

PreK through 4th Grade: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
5th through 12th Grade: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

This isn’t your typical “sit still and listen” youth group. We believe faith is caught more than taught, so we create space for young people to:

• Ask hard questions without judgment
• Serve their community and see faith in action
• Build friendships that last
• Discover who God created them to be
• Have fun (yes, fun and faith go together!)

• 5th Quarter ministry
• Rankin School Pantry support
• Community service projects
• Summer activities

Children’s Ministry

Where Kids Learn That God Loves Them

Our children’s ministry is simple: we want every kid to know they’re loved by God and by us. We do that through:

Wednesday Night Programs: Age-appropriate activities for PreK through 4th grade from 5:00-6:00 PM

Summer Bible School: We use the community pool for a week of fun, faith, and friendship

Special Events: Christmas programs, Easter celebrations, and more throughout the year

Family-Friendly Worship: We love the life that little ones bring to our services – they’re always welcome

We’re not trying to entertain kids – we’re trying to introduce them to a God who loves them wildly and a church family that will walk with them for life.

Community Service

Faith in Action

We believe faith without works is dead. That’s why our church regularly engages in hands-on service projects that make a real difference in Rankin and Upton County.

What we do:

• Community cleanup projects
• Volunteer with local organizations
• Support families in crisis
• Partner with schools and civic groups
• Respond to emergency needs

Who can participate:
Everyone! Service projects involve all ages working side by side. We believe that kids who grow up serving others become adults who change the world.

We believe in the power of prayer. Our prayer team lifts up requests faithfully and confidentially. Whether you’re facing a crisis, celebrating a blessing, or just need someone to pray alongside you, we’re here.

What we pray for:

• Health concerns and medical needs
• Family struggles and relationships
• Financial difficulties
• Grief and loss
• Gratitude and praise
• Anything on your heart

Worship & Music Ministry

Serve Through Music

Our worship is traditional, but that doesn’t mean it’s lifeless. We need people who can:

• Lead hymns and worship songs
• Play instruments (piano, guitar, etc.)
• Serve as ushers and greeters
• Prepare communion elements
• Read scripture during services
• Operate sound and video equipment

You don’t have to be perfect – just willing. If you love Jesus and want to serve, we’ll find a place for you.
