Loving Our Neighbors, Serving Our Community

Rankin Ministerial Alliance

Serving Upton County Together

The Rankin Ministerial Alliance is a partnership of local churches working together to meet practical needs in our community. First United Methodist Church is proud to be an active partner in this vital ministry.

How We Serve:

Food Bank

No one in Upton County should go hungry. Our food bank provides groceries and emergency food assistance to families in need.

Hours:
Every other Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Following Thursday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Food Bank Delivery Service

Can’t make it to the food bank? We understand. If you’re homebound, lack transportation, or are unable to visit during our regular hours, we can arrange delivery. No questions asked – just let us know you need help.

School Food Pantry

Students and families can access emergency food assistance during the school week.

Open: Monday and Friday from 3:40-4:00 PM
Contact: Jerry Stanford at 715-252-1031

Backpack Program

Every child deserves to have food for the weekend. Our backpack program sends food home with students in need on Fridays – currently serving 1 out of every 3 students at Rankin schools.

Financial Assistance

Unexpected expenses can devastate a family. We provide emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, medications, and other critical needs. All requests are handled with dignity and confidentiality.

Crisis Support

When disaster strikes – whether it’s a house fire, medical emergency, or family crisis – we mobilize quickly to help. No one in Upton County should go through life alone.

Need Assistance?

If you or someone you know needs help, please don’t hesitate to reach out. That’s why we’re here.

Emergency Needs: Call or text Pastor Mandy at 920-851-7394

All requests are confidential. We’re not here to judge or interrogate – we’re here to help.

Get Involved

Want to make a difference in Rankin? We need volunteers for various programs throughout the year. Whether you have an hour or a whole day, there’s a place for you to serve.

Community Programs

See You At The Pole & Fields of Faith

We’re proud to support See You At The Pole (held each September) and Fields of Faith (held each October) – annual events where students gather to pray and share their faith.

Partnership with Local Schools

We believe in supporting our local schools. Through the Rankin School Pantry and other initiatives, we’re investing in the next generation.

5th Quarter Ministry

After Friday night football games, we provide a safe, fun space for students to gather. It’s our way of supporting our local team and building relationships with youth.

Local Partnerships

We work with various organizations throughout Upton County to multiply our impact. When churches, nonprofits, schools, and civic groups work together, everyone wins.
